SUNY College of Optometry, New York NY
The M&P survey team completed scanning the 6th and 18th floor roofs and the floors immediately below. At select locations ceiling tiles were removed under the locations of the roof leaders and the underside of the roof deck was scanned. A Revit model was built based on the scan data and the roof leaders were mapped. The M&P structural engineers used the Revit model and existing drawings to develop a report and make a recommendation for a new roofing type and construction. The team laid out a roof coring plan to confirm constriction.
